Carbon capture unit part 2

Rolling, lifting and positioning of a 3 tonne vessel. With only 1m spare at the tallest point.

Bankside Substation

Lifting 500kg fan units for a substation at the Tate Modern in London, lifting at over 20m high and 10m into the building.

with only 1m of leg on the lifting side, it was quite challenging conditions for the team, but with perfect planning with out RaM's package, it was a breeze.

Climbing Frame Catastrophe

Assisting in felling a 25m oak tree that had fallen onto another tree endangering a children's climbing frame in a public park. Lifting limbs and branches one by one down and off the oak as the tree surgeons removed them.

The main trunk once pruned was over 20 metres tall and weighed over 4,000kg,  needed to be carefully lowed down as there was no where it could be felled without causing damage to the surrounding park.

18m Steel Beam!

Lifting an enormous structural steel beam into position after a lorry strike.

Our solution was to position the beam under the structure then move the Haib to lift the beam directly up and into the final position. slotting it into the building and onto the podium at the same time.

Once the beam was secure we then lifted the roof structure to remove he temporary supports and then lower each part down onto the secure beam.

Indoor lifting

An indoor carbon capture machine, needed to be transported and then lifted into position. over 3 days our team loaded, delivered and placed each section indoors,

using spreader bars to keep the load secure with out damaging the fragile parts of the machine.

Gantry and Carrier

Serval air handling units needed to be moved into position at Maidstone hospital but the area was not accessible by road or Hiab, while a crane would cause to much disruption to the hospital.

Our solution was to use our gantry and tracked carrier in combination to manoeuvre the units into position with zero disruption to the hospital or the patients.

Mission impossible?

19ft Swim Spa needed to be lifted over 50m with no access.

Our solution, including crane lifting, moving on our tracked carrier and lifting with our gantry system.

the operation was undertaken over 2 days and using 3 members of our team.

Give us a call to discuss your mission impossible!

Swim Spa move

17ft Swim spa moved with ease on our tracked carrier!

Saving on labour, over rough terrain and lining up perfectly to be lifted off with our gantry system.

Call Peter for more information on how the tracked carrier can be your tight access solution.

Airport Tug

An airport tug needed to be unloaded by crane, but with an inconvenient crane permit waiting time of sixteen weeks, our solution involved expert operators using three of our large Hiabs in a tandem lift.

give us a call to discuss your lifting solution.

Goods hoist

Lifting a goods hoist up on top of the roof for it to be assembled, 3rd floor and 10 metres into the building.

Fire suppression installation

fire suppression systems were not installed in time by the engineers on site, so our solution was to take out part of the roof, lift into the roof void and place each fire suppression control box into there final position.

4 in total were lifted and placed over 3 days, each a different location in the warehouse

London City Airport

Steel frame work needed to be installed into the 4th floor, but there was no access from the ground.

Our solution to the problem was lift up to the 6th floor and hoist down into the 4th and help with installation.

Dismantling Scaffolding

Dismantling and removing scaffolding from a fourth floor rooftop

The main use of the Hiab during the project was lifting down the twenty-one metre support beams.

The Hiab and our team also assisted in lifting down other scaffolding materials.

The work took four team members two days to complete.
